Description

**Imoto = Little Sister (Female version of Otouto or "Little Brother" in a way...)**

I was just minding my own business, working on Ichiko's character sheet when all of sudden "Concrete Angel" started playing on iTunes. When I work on a character, I like to play the playlist I have for them and for some reason I had Concrete Angel on Ichiko's. I'm not really sure why, but anyway! As I was listening I started thinking, 'Huh. These words almost seem... familiar somehow.' It was almost like they were striking a chord in me. (Not all of them, mind you. just certain ones.) Then, the chorus came up about the 2nd time around, I think, and BAM! It hit me, just like that and I understood.

Certain phrases in the song reminded me unbelievably of Ichiko, so I was practically scrambling for paper, trying to get the drawing that I had so suddenly been struck with down. It was even a struggle trying to just minimize my Artweaver program so it wouldn't be up on my screen. After about an hour, maybe less, I was left with the sketchy version of the picture you see above. After that, I inked, colored, added the words I felt were the phrases that fit, and voila! You have your picture!

So, that's the story behind this picture. For those unaware, Ichiko IS a Female Itachi from my Gender Bender Naruto Series and this song is "Concrete Angel", by: Martina McBride. (Saddest Song EVER and the video will break your heart.)

So... that's it. ^^; Not my best work ever, but I like the idea behind it, you know? If the 'she's were 'he's, I even think those snippets of the song fit Itachi as well. :meow: *sigh* It's so sad, but kinda sweet at the same time, you know?...

It's... Bittersweet.

i noticed a similarity between the shown lyrics of 'concrete angel' and Coldplay's 'paradise' where the unknown subject of both songs suffers hardships(mostly unknown in paradise), with both subjects also being girls, who escape reality to a place where they're happy in their own dreams.
